Maybe the extreme end of the distressed look. Given additional surface distress and a dark ebonized, wax finish. Imbuing the feeling of

age and mystery like a forgotten antique or magical

artefact with a story to tell or a life of its own. The table appears weak at the knees as if consumed by an alcoholic stupor, with traditional wood-turned forms cut and re-joined to zigzag on their way to the floor.
